Witcher 3 Remastered Hearts of Stone Blood and Wine

Witcher 3 Remastered Hearts of Stone Blood and Wine is the expansion grant sitting on Steam's Complete Edition SKU, not a new DLC drop and not Songs of the Past. Hearts of Stone shipped in October 2015. Blood and Wine shipped in May 2016. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition is still Steam app 292030 from the 14 December 2022 Next-Gen launch. CDPR and Steam say current base-game owners receive both expansions free, and both ship with Remastered. Songs of the Past (5006530) is not in that grant.

The 2026 expansion grant

CD PROJEKT RED and Steam say that from the announcement day, current owners of the base game receive Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine at no additional cost. Both expansions are included in Remastered. That sentence is a 2026 ownership policy, not a claim that the expansions were remade as new 2026 regions. Hearts of Stone remains the October 2015 Gaunter O'Dimm story. Blood and Wine remains the May 2016 Toussaint expansion.

Xbox Wire states Xbox One base-game owners also receive the two expansions. Digital copies appear in the library; disc owners claim them from the Store. That is the most specific last-generation grant in the captured first-party set. It still does not say Remastered itself runs on Xbox One.

If you already bought Complete Edition or both expansions years ago, the grant does not charge you again. If you only own the 2015 base game on a qualifying platform, 29 September 2026 is when Remastered and the two expansions sit together without a second checkout.

Complete Edition is still app 292030

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition is the Steam display name for app 292030. It became the live SKU when the Next-Gen Update launched on 14 December 2022, bundling the game with Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine on that storefront. Remastered upgrades that same app. There is no second Steam product named Remastered in the captured appdetails payload.

Console Complete Edition SKUs follow the same idea: the store page you already own is the page that receives the 2026 client. Nintendo Switch 2 is the outlier storefront whose eShop title is already The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered. Steam 5006530 is Songs of the Past, a different app, a paid 2027 expansion, not a Complete Edition rename.

The merchant-stall still below is Complete Edition gallery art. It is here because the SKU is Complete Edition, not because Remastered reshot Toussaint vendors. Label 2015/2022 store art as historical when it appears on a 2026 folio.

Why Songs of the Past is not an included expansion

Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are story expansions that already exist inside the Complete Edition bundle. Songs of the Past is a 2027 Letten expansion with its own Steam DLC identity, co-developed with Fool's Theory. CDPR announced it on 27 May 2026, then announced Remastered on 25 August 2026 as a separate free overhaul. The two products share marketing beats and a Battle.net partnership; they do not share a download.

Steam's header for 292030 currently carries a New Expansion Wishlist Now ribbon. That ribbon points at Songs of the Past, not at Hearts of Stone. Wishlisting 5006530 does not grant Remastered. Owning Remastered does not grant Letten. Keep those buttons separate at checkout.

If a store page says Complete Edition, read it as 292030 plus the two 2015–2016 expansions. If it says Songs of the Past, read it as 5006530 for 2027. If it says Remastered on Nintendo eShop, read it as the Switch 2 SKU that includes the two old expansions and still excludes Letten.

Complete Edition receives the 2026 upgrade while remaining app 292030. If a cashier SKU name still says Complete Edition on 30 September 2026, that is expected on Steam.

Owners who already paid for both expansions in 2015–2016, or who bought Complete Edition in 2022, do not pay again for those stories on 29 September 2026. Owners who only hold the 2015 base game on a qualifying platform receive both expansions as part of the Remastered grant. Switch 2 Remastered listings include the two stories and still exclude Songs of the Past. That is the entire expansion policy this folio can certify from CDPR, Steam, and Xbox Wire.
